3 Day Explorer

Overview:

A 3-day Bazbus adventure from Cape Town to Mossel Bay and Hermanus! 2 destinations which cannot be missed when in South Africa.

Highlights:

  • Set off on this short yet jam packed adventure to the harbour town of Mossel Bay, along the beautiful Garden Route.
  • Overnight in this adventure capital of the Garden Route and take to the water on a 2-hr sunset cruise, and a fun filled quad bike safari game drive.
  • Visit the seaside town of Hermanus, the world’s foremost land based whale watching destination.
  • Explore the magic of the unique coastline with its abundant marine life up close and personal in stable kayaks, in the company of an experienced guide.

Day 1

6:30am – 7:00am

Depart Cape Town - we pick up directly from hostels and hotels for safety and comfort. If staying in an Airbnb just email us. Your booking confirmation (ticket) will show you your exact pick-up time (depends on where you are staying!).

10:00am – 10:30am

Quick stop for breakfast at Riviersonderend.

10:30am

Continue along the scenic Garden Route coastline.

1:10pm – 1:30pm

Arrival into Mossel Bay – You will be able to check accommodation options, if you haven’t booked any yet, check with your driver.

4:00pm – 6:00pm

INCLUDED ACTIVITY

Mossel Bay Sunset Cruise – Relaxed 2 hr cruise around Seal Island and the Bay, the Point, Hartenbos, Diaz Beach, De Bakke and Santo’s beaches. Cash Bar available and picnic baskets welcome.

Overnight in Mossel Bay.

Day 2

10:00am – 11:00am

INCLUDED ACTIVITY

Mossel Bay Quad Bike Safari – A little different from a vehicle game drive…you get the chance to be in control of your quad bike and follow as the tour is presented by an experienced guide taking the lead and gets the chance to teach the clients about mammal, bird and plant species. Opportunities to take photos will be given by the guides.

Departs Mossel Bay to Hermanus

5:55pm

Arrive in Hermanus - Overnight in Hermanus

Day 3

11:00am - 13:30pm

INCLUDED ACTIVITY

Hermanus Sea Kayaking – Explore the magic of our unique coastline with its abundant marine life up close and personal in one of our stable kayaks in the company of an experienced guide. Glide across sparkling water while enjoying a view of the majestic mountain, sea cliffs and marine life.

1:30pm – 5:30pm

Free time in Hermanus to explore the Tourist Market and have lunch at one of the local restaurants (lunch not included).

5:55pm

Depart from Hermanus - Sit back and relax on the journey back to Cape Town

8:00pm

Arrival in Cape Town – We will drop you off at your accommodation once we arrive, guaranteeing convenience and comfort after a fun day out in nature!
